Babilou Family US seeks an Assistant Teacher to support Certified Teachers in sustainable early childhood education at Little Sprouts locations in Boston. You will help create a safe, nurturing classroom and contribute to meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Responsibilities include assisting in daily lesson plans, maintaining organization, supervising children, engaging families, and pursuing professional development in safety and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and experience with young children.
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally responsible classroom.
• Supervise children during activities and transitions; ensure safety and documentation.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and participate in family events.
• Attend required trainings and pursue ongoing professional development.
