Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our Little Sprouts program. You will support a Certified Teacher, contribute to an eco‑m minded classroom, and build respectful relationships with children and families. The role emphasizes sustainability, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

This on‑site position operates year‑round, Monday–Friday, with a focus on safe, developmentally appropriate learning and community partnerships across our New England schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Support a safe, organized, and eco‑minded classroom environment.
• Supervise children during activities and transitions, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Engage families with sustainable communication practices and updates.
• Attend required trainings and collaborate to enhance classroom systems.
