Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Naperville, IL is offering a Sustainability & Energy Innovation Services Intern position for a 10–12 week summer program.

You will work with engineers on energy modeling, daylight and carbon analyses, and LEED/WELL/PHIUS/Green Globes certification support, while learning via shadowing senior staff. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple sustainability projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and adhering to project budgets.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Prior internship in the building design consulting industry preferred.
• Strong interest in sustainability and innovation.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analyses and sustainability measures across projects.
• Support energy modeling, daylight analysis, and carbon analysis.
• Document workflows and prepare reports for project teams.
• Coordinate design information with disciplines to inform energy models.
