IMEG Corp in Naperville, IL offers a Summer 2027 Sustainability & Energy Engineering Internship. You will help with energy modeling, daylight and carbon analyses, and certification support across multiple green building standards.

The internship runs 10–12 weeks with a hybrid schedule and mentorship from experienced engineers. Eligible candidates are at least 2 years into a BS in Engineering or Architecture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing a BS in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Interest in sustainability and decarbonization in buildings.
• Familiarity with energy modeling and green building certifications.

Responsabilités

• Assist with sustainable design practices across the company.
• Support building performance analyses on projects.
• Coordinate energy models with design teams for certification work.
• Assist in solar PV assessments and decarbonization strategies.
• Prepare reports and assist senior staff on project tasks.
