Job summary

IMEG, Naperville, IL, is hiring a Sustainability & Energy New Graduate to support sustainable design efforts across the practice. The role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.

You will contribute to energy modeling, daylight analysis, carbon analysis, life cycle cost analysis, LEED/WELL/PHIUS/Green Globes support, and CFD analysis while assisting with client decarbonization strategies and internal technical

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent required.
Internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Experience with FEMA/Homeland Security ICS/Emergency Management preferred.
Experience with federal, state and local law enforcement procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct building performance analyses on projects.
Consult with clients on decarbonization strategies.
Support projects seeking building certifications (energy modeling, documentation, LEED/WELL/PHIUS/Green Globes).
Lead sustainable design projects and manage team workload.
Act as technical resource on projects with senior staff support.
Assist in design recommendations with senior staff.
Participate in quality control for team projects.
Develop technical analysis reports and presentations for internal/external audiences.
