Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Sustainability & Energy New Graduate in Naperville, IL to support sustainable design across the firm. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.

Responsibilities include energy modeling, CFD and daylighting analyses, and assisting with LEED/WELL/PHIUS/Green Globes certification support. You will work on client decarbonization strategies and contribute to internal technical

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent required.
Internship experience in building design consulting preferred.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Experience with FEMA/ICS Emergency Management and related guidance preferred.
Experience with federal/state/local law enforcement agencies and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct building performance analyses on projects.
Consult with clients on decarbonization strategies and optimization.
Support projects seeking building certifications (energy modeling, documentation, lead certification).
Lead sustainable design projects and assist with team workload management.
Serve as a technical resource, resolving project issues with senior staff support.
Develop and present technical analysis reports and deliverables.
