Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Naperville, IL, invites a Sustainability & Energy New Graduate to join our team. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, energy modeling, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You will contribute to decarbonization strategies, building performance analyses, and support certifications such as LEED/WELL, while developing technical skills in CFD, daylighting, and life-cycle cost analysis within our Strategic Growth Services practice.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent; entry-level.
• Internship in building design consulting preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Experience with FEMA ICS/EM, emergency management, and related guidance preferred.
• Experience with federal, state and local law enforcement guidance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building performance analyses on projects.
• Consult with clients on decarbonization strategies and project optimization.
• Support certifications (LEED/WELL/PHIUS/Green Globes) with energy modeling and documentation.
• Lead sustainable design projects and assist with workload management.
• Serve as a technical resource for issue resolution with senior staff.
• Assist in design recommendations with support from senior staff.
• Actively participate in the quality control process for team projects.
• Contribute to internal technical development for large and small projects.
• Develop technical analysis reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
