Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO is seeking an Intern to support Environmental Services and related practices. You will collaborate with project teams, assist with filing, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations, and help respond to general questions.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
Active involvement in campus, community or volunteer activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Self-motivated and eager learner.

Responsibilities

Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
Assist with responses to general questions.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
Present solutions to concerns.
Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
Complies with all policies and standards.
