Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO is seeking an Engineering Intern who applies standard engineering techniques to design and update systems, and assists lead engineers on projects within the Transmission & Distribution market.

Responsibilities include filing, data entry, documentation, PowerPoint presentations, data analysis, and supporting ad hoc projects. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred, and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in data analysis for continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to project concerns.
• Research solutions and recommend fixes.
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
