Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Sustainability Corporate Counsel to join the Procurement Legal team. You will structure environmental attribute transactions, guide sustainability initiatives, and manage legal risk related to sustainability commitments.

You will negotiate carbon credits, VPPAs, and renewable energy agreements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance Salesforce’s environmental goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active license to practice law in the United States.
• Minimum of five years of legal experience focused on environmental attribute transactions, carbon markets, or renewable energy.
• Proven track record negotiating carbon agreements, VPPAs, or similar sustainability-focused procurement structures.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage a complex portfolio of environmental attribute transactions (carbon credit POs, VPPAs, etc.).
• Oversee and expand Sustainability Exhibit, embedding environmental commitments into the supply chain.
• Advise the Impact Team and stakeholders on sustainability initiatives, disclosures, and risk mitigation with fast, business-focused counsel.
