Job summary

StaffedUp in United States is seeking a reliable Line Cook for our sushi and poke station. No prior sushi experience is required as training is provided; familiarity with sushi ingredients is a plus. You will join a team focused on quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, assembling orders, keeping the station organized, and following food safety procedures during busy service. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

Interest in learning sushi and poke preparation.
Sushi knowledge preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus.
Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently during busy service.
Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive team attitude.
Availability for evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for sushi rolls, poke bowls, and other station items.
Assemble orders according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Keep the station stocked, organized, and ready for service.
Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and labeling ingredients.
Maintain a clean workstation and complete opening and closing duties.
Work with the kitchen and service team to prepare accurate, timely orders.
