Discovery Land Company - Troubadour Golf & Field Club in Tennessee is seeking a Line Cook - Sushi to join our Food and Beverage Culinary Department. You will craft fresh fish dishes and assist the Sushi Chef to ensure quality and consistency for our members and guests.

The ideal candidate has a culinary degree or certificate and at least two years of high-end sushi experience, with extensive knowledge of sushi prep and food safety. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certificate strongly preferred.
• At least two years of culinary experience in high end sushi restaurants.
• Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation.
• Understanding of all cookery techniques and processes.
• Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Craft fresh fish sushi dishes and assist Sushi Chef with prep.
• Maintain high quality and consistency, including menu accuracy and taste.
• Maintain sushi standards and food safety practices.
• Assist with inventory and prep to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary.
• Perform cleaning schedules and opening/closing checklists.
• Train staff to handle utensils and equipment safely.
