Qualifications

• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Craft sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty items with precision and visual appeal.
• Prepare ingredients—fish, rice, vegetables, and garnishes—meeting freshness standards.
• Maintain the sushi station, stock, break down, and ensure daily service readiness.
• Monitor inventory, labeling, rotation, and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, tools, and refrigeration per regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house for seamless service.
• Assist Sushi Supervisor and chefs with plating and presentation.
• Engage guests during counter service or events to enhance dining experience.
• Support learning culture and training of junior team members.
