Job summary

Delaware North's Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is seeking a full-time Sushi Cook to prepare high-quality sushi in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow established recipes, ensure ingredient freshness, and collaborate with the team to maintain efficient operations.

With at least two years of sushi-cook experience and strong knife skills, you will help uphold food-safety standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience at Disney Springs.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a sushi cook or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.
• Strong knife skills and precision in handling raw fish and other ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality sushi dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
• Handle, slice, and present fish and other ingredients with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and organized work-flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the sushi preparation area.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of sushi ingredients.
• Uphold food safety regulations and practices.
