On the Go is seeking a Sushi Cook to join our airport dining team at MCO. You will be responsible for preparing sushi items to standard, portion control, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Must be 18+ with experience in Japanese-style cooking and sushi restaurants. Ability to lift 35 lbs and work with kitchen safety protocols is required. This role supports guest satisfaction across our global food concepts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in Japanese-style cooking.
• Experience working in a sushi restaurant.
• Able to lift 35 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard preparation procedures designated by the manager or chef.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Coordinates delivery of foods within pre-set time standards.
• Maintains product standards and recipe knowledge daily.
• Preps and plates station items per specs and time limits.
• Ensures safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Maintains clean and organized kitchen areas and equipment.
• Communicates product runouts or issues to the MOD promptly.
