You will support the Chef by managing daily sushi operations and producing high-quality dishes for guests, with a focus on freshness, presentation, and consistency.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of sushi experience, excellent knife skills, and a Serve Safe Manager certification.

Qualifications

• This role requires 3+ years of experience as a Sushi Cook or similar role.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in sushi techniques.
• Proficiency in rolling, nigiri, and garnishing; strong attention to detail.
• Serve Safe Manager certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to maintain top quality.
• Follow preparation and cooking protocols from item retrieval to plating.
• Prepare rice, sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi prep.
• Maintain food safety standards and proper temperatures.
• Keep workstation clean and organized and manage storage of ingredients.
