Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Sushi Clerk for the Hy-Chi department to help fill customer orders, prepare fresh products, and keep the department running smoothly daily. You will focus on food safety, freshness, and friendly service to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Food Safety Certification required.
Six months or more of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with orders.
Take orders at the counter and over the phone, helping customers locate items.
Review daily orders and monitor product freshness and supply levels.
Prepare, finish, and replenish product, pulling items from the cooler or freezer.
Maintain sanitation and keep the work area clean and organized.
Check in and label items, date products, and dispose of trash promptly.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Follow Hy-Vee dress code and safety policies.
