Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Sushi Clerk to join the Hy-Chi department. You will help fill customer orders, prepare fresh products, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace throughout each shift.

You will deliver friendly customer service, check product freshness, and ensure proper labeling and dating. A high school diploma and Food Safety Certification are required, with prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certification required; six months or more of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and going the extra mile.
• Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone, assist with finding products and carrying items.
• Review daily orders and monitor product freshness and supply levels.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product as needed from cooler or freezer.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
