Job summary

Raley's in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Sushi Chef to support prepared foods, work with the Sushi Team Lead, and help achieve sales and service goals. You will focus on safe food handling, stocking, production, and merchandising while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include production tasks, ordering and receiving, menu ideas, ensuring health department compliance, maintaining cleanliness, operating the POS, and assisting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and sushi production.
• Knowledge of health department requirements in food service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Production, ordering and receiving, merchandising, inventory sanitation, and safety within the sushi department.
• Daily preparation work in the department, filleting fish, and preparing sushi for cases and orders while upholding quality standards.
• Assist with menu planning and development and explore new trends and recipes.
