Kuza in Scottsdale seeks a Sushi Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in daily operations and team leadership. You will oversee the sushi program, ensuring quality and organization, while leading a team. This full-time role requires strong skills in sushi preparation and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with Japanese food & culture or Asian-influenced concepts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sushi prep and service execution to maintain quality standards.
• Assist in supervising BOH staff and lead pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure kitchen organization, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.

Skills
