Job summary

RA Sushi - Plantation is seeking a Sushi Chef to prepare sauces and sushi items at the bar, ensuring a fun, engaging guest experience. The role includes portioning, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing a variety of ingredients, and reporting issues to the manager while upholding the company’s quality guidelines. Training and food handling compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass the Company’s sushi chef training program and cooking procedures.
• Previous experience as sushi chef highly desirable.
• Culinary degree a plus.
• Approved food handling training as required by local laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the sushi bar and ensure an inviting experience.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide information about food.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the sushi bar and equipment.
• Adhere to portioning, cooking methods, safety and sanitation standards.
