Job summary

RA Sushi - Houston II is seeking a Sushi Chef to prepare sauces and sushi items for guests, primarily at the sushi bar. You will ensure proper portioning, cleanliness, and a fun, inviting experience while following all food safety and service guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing various meats and seafood, responding to guest inquiries, and maintaining equipment and work areas in a sanitary condition.

Qualifications

• Must pass sushi chef training program.
• Previous experience as sushi chef is desirable.
• Approved food handling training as required by local laws.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests at the sushi bar/lounge area.
• Prepare variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables for cooking using kitchen equipment.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and provide information about food.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with food quality and service.
• Maintain cleanliness of sushi bar, prep and storage areas.
• Follow company standards on portioning, cooking methods, safety and sanitation.
