Job summary

Rock N’ Roll Sushi in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a motivated Sushi Chef to join our back-of-house team and craft sushi, rolls, and sashimi to Rock N’ Roll standards.

Whether you’re experienced or eager to learn, you’ll work in a fast-paced, rock-inspired restaurant with hands-on training, growth opportunities, and competitive pay. Weekend/evening/holiday availability helps you fit into our busy service schedule.

• Passion for sushi and willingness to learn proper techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency, freshness, and quality in every dish.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food safety standards at the sushi station.
• Assist with prep work, ingredient handling, and inventory management.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all recipes and presentation guidelines while also supporting creative specials when needed.
