Job summary

Remedies Renewing Lives seeks a Transitional Housing Advocate to join a multidisciplinary team delivering transitional housing services for survivors of domestic violence. The role emphasizes empowerment-based, trauma-informed counseling and active client goal planning with a survivor-centered approach.

You will manage a caseload, coordinate supportive services, and collaborate with residential and non-residential programs to promote safety and autonomy for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• One-year full-time experience in counseling, advocacy or case management with adults preferred.
• 40-hour domestic violence training completed or provided by Remedies Renewing Lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy-based counseling and case management to survivors of domestic violence.
• Maintain client records and confidentiality in line with laws and agency policy.
• Develop and monitor individualized service plans with clients.
• Engage in safety planning and linkage to services for survivors.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-agency collaborations as assigned.
• Document activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
