Remedies Renewing Lives seeks an Advocate to deliver survivor-centered domestic violence services. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team, maintain caseloads, and provide advocacy, counseling, and case management with clients and survivors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required.
• One year of full-time experience in counseling, advocacy, or case management with adults preferred.
• Completion of the 40-hour domestic violence training as required by IDVA.

Responsibilities

• Apply advocacy-based counseling techniques to support survivors.
• Evaluate caseload needs and help set goals with survivors.
• Provide advocacy, counseling and case management services as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Engage in safety planning and linkages to services as required.
