CVOEO's Voices Against Violence Shelter seeks a Housing Advocate to provide comprehensive housing services for survivors in emergency and permanent housing situations. You will maintain confidentiality, build trust with participants, and coordinate with community resources to support self-sufficiency and housing stability.

The role emphasizes working within a compassionate, inclusive team focused on preventing domestic and sexual violence through direct services and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence issues preferred.
• Commitment to valuing diversity and inclusive environment.
• Ability to relate to a wide variety of people in a respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive housing services to participants in need of emergency and permanent housing.
• Maintain confidentiality in survivor matters and related interactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to assist survivor housing goals.
