Job summary

Camillus House in South Florida seeks a Victim Advocate for Human Trafficking Survivors. You will provide wraparound, survivor-centered case management to help transition from emergency shelter to stable housing, with emphasis on safety, stability, and self-sufficiency through rapid rehousing.

The role requires trauma-informed practice, crisis response, and collaboration with behavioral health and housing partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, housing studies, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; certifications in trauma-informed care or housing advocacy are a plus.
• Minimum 2–3 years in victim advocacy, housing services, or related social services field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver survivor-centered case management and wraparound support during housing transitions.
• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and emotional support for clients in housing programs.
• Develop safety plans and respond to crises to ensure survivor safety.
• Maintain ongoing engagement through home visits, check-ins, and progress reviews.
• Assist with housing applications, leases, landlord engagement, and move-in coordination.
• Support legal resources related to immigration, family law, employment rights, and expungement.
