Job summary

IMEG Corp is seeking a Surveying Intern in Charlotte, NC for a 10-12 week summer program. You will support engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, and site drainage and grading designs.

You'll gain hands-on experience while learning the Civil Engineering trade alongside seasoned engineers and consultants, with mentoring and real project involvement throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• No prior internship required, but preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software and BIM is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project design activities in line with IMEG standards.
• Research available equipment and resources for projects.
• Document design decisions and maintain project notebooks.
• Coordinate design and scheduling with disciplines and partners.
• Conduct periodic site observations and support contract services.
