Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Surveying Intern for the Summer 2027 program in Rock Island, IL. Over 10-12 weeks you'll assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, and site drainage and grading design, gaining hands-on exposure to transportation, municipal, and bridge projects.

You'll work with experienced engineers, coordinate across disciplines, document design decisions, and learn IMEG's ESOP culture, with a clear path to full-time opportunities for

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering with 2+ years completed.
• Prior internship in building design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing.
• Support permit applications and site drainage design.
• Coordinate with disciplines and document design decisions.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
• Assist with issue of addendum information and site observations.
