Job description

Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Technician at our Brownsville, TX location.

What You Will Do

1. Organize research for fieldwork.
2. Reduce field observations.
3. Prepare data for drafting.
4. Assist the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports.
5. Perform COGO calculations.
6. Assist the RPLS with Boundary Analysis.

What You Will Need

1. 3+ years of experience as a Survey Technician.
2. Experience in producing survey maps and plats.
3. Proficiency with Civil 3D is required.
4. Familiarity with handheld computers (tablets, iPads, etc.).
5. Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
6. Dependability regarding punctuality and attendance.
7. Willingness to work overtime/weekends to meet deadlines.
8. Physical ability to perform labor for up to 12 hours per day.
9. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
10. Valid Driver's License.
11. Ability to pass drug and background screening.
