Key Responsibilities
Technical Duties:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless internet equipment, including antennas, routers, and access points.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement for wireless connectivity.
- Respond to service tickets, diagnose connectivity issues, and provide on-site and remote support.
- Configure and test networking equipment (modems, routers, switches) for customers.
- Assist in expanding network infrastructure, including tower maintenance and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain accurate installation and repair documentation.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician dispatch.
- Maintain customer records, work orders, and inventory databases.
- Process service agreements, invoices, and payments.
- Provide customer support via phone and email, troubleshooting basic connectivity issues.
- Assist in compliance tracking and reporting for grant-funded projects.
- Support project management, including documentation and communication with vendors and partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in wireless internet service installation, networking, or telecommunications.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, firewalls, wireless signals).
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions as needed.
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Work Location:
- This role is mostly remote, with the exception of periodic on-site visits to customers' homes.
