Specialist Consultant | Transportation & Land Surveying | LVI Associates | Mid-Atlantic
Base pay range

$105,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

One of the nation's leading AEC firms is looking to bring on another Survey Project Manager to any of their Maryland offices (Belcamp, Annapolis, Mitcheville).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate a team to prepare, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
  • Interpret and analyze survey data using advanced technology and industry-standard software.
  • Assess site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements, and condominium documentation.
  • Organize and manage survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project efficiency.
  • Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys, particularly for renewable energy projects such as solar and wind.
  • Provide construction-related services and mentor junior staff on tasks like permit applications, quantity estimates, and document preparation.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to deliver accurate, timely, and budget-compliant results.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, conferences, and networking events.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, supporting training, career development, and team growth.
  • Foster a positive team culture through recognition and performance rewards.
Qualifications
  • Active Professional Survey License (PLS or PSM).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the surveying industry.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, GPS, Data Collection, Legal Descriptions, and Real Estate documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
