Our key client in the DC Metro area (MD side) seeks a Senior Surveyor to lead people, manage projects, and grow within a strong firm. You will mentor staff and build long-term client relationships while delivering accurate surveys.

The role covers field and office leadership, plan and manage all survey parts, supervise crews, review ALTA/topographic surveys, and collaborate with engineers and designers to keep projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field (or similar experience).
• At least 5 years of land surveying experience.
• Maryland PLS license preferred (LSIT also considered).
• Experience leading teams and managing projects.
• Skills in Civil 3D, Microstation, Carlson, or similar software.
• Strong communication and client skills.
• Able to balance technical work with business goals.
