Civil Science is seeking an experienced Survey Manager to lead and advance our Las Vegas survey program. You will oversee surveyors and support staff within the Survey Division, leveraging your PLS license to guide technical excellence and client relations.

Qualifications

• Nevada PLS license required.
• 6+ years surveying experience.
• Proven ability to develop revenue-generating client relationships in Las Vegas surveying market.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel and meet client needs throughout Nevada.
• Proven experience overseeing and managing multi-project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, think critically, and support multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of project management: budgeting, scheduling, quality control, resource planning.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and team development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and uphold quality management processes.
• Ability to balance technical work with operational and strategic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the survey work in NV aligned with company goals.
• Lead level planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Drive quality, risk management, and safety compliance.
• Develop staff through mentoring, hiring, and performance management programs.
• Represent Civil Science in municipal, regional, and state forums and industry organizations.
• Lead business development efforts for the Las Vegas survey market, including identifying new clients and pursuing strategic opportunities.
• Oversee proposal development and monitor funding cycles.
• Cultivate long‑term relationships with agencies, councils, and community partners.
