Job summary

Patriot Surveying & Infrastructure is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead our Survey Division as Project Manager. This senior role focuses on business, financial, and personnel leadership while providing technical oversight and final certification on complex civil, energy, and land development projects.

Responsibilities include proposal development, project scheduling, pre-bill reconciliations, AR, and client development.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Land Surveyor licensure.
• 5+ years in land surveying/geomatics with PM experience.
• Experience with ALTA surveys, construction staking, and land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation/ArcGIS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex surveying projects with focus on accuracy and profitability.
• Develop proposals, schedule projects, and monitor financials (pre-bill, AR).
• Review, stamp, and certify final plans, maps, and regulatory docs.
• Provide technical direction to crews and technicians; ensure QC of data.
• Drive business development and maintain client relationships; recruit and mentor staff.
• Coordinate permits with state/local authorities and ensure safety compliance.
