Job summary

NorthPoint Development LLC in Kansas City, MO seeks a Survey Crew Lead to join the SitePoint team. This field-based role involves outdoor, local-to-KC work with frequent travel, typically three to five-day trips, every other week.

You will perform topographic surveys, operate GPS, UAVs, LiDAR, and ALTA surveys, collaborating with internal and external teams to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a field surveyor preferred.
• Capable operator of GPS, total stations, UAVs and LiDAR.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel within the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform all field work required to complete topographic surveys.
• Operate survey equipment including GPS, UAVs, LiDAR and more.
• Perform all field work for ALTA surveys.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members to complete tasks.

As a member of SitePoint, the engineering, planning and surveying division of NorthPoint, you will work with other technical professionals to help NorthPoint build projects that benefit communities across the country. This position is an outdoor local-to-KC support role with frequent travel, typically consisting of three to five-day trips, every other week. Who You Are

• 2+ years’ experience working as a field surveyor preferred.
• Capable operator of GPS, total stations, UAVs and Lidar.
• Experienced in working with typical survey processes and procedures related to site development.
• Must have a valid driver's license and are able to travel within the US by air and land.
• Up to the challenge of a dynamic team with the resources and talent to change rapidly with each unique project.
