Job summary

NorthPoint Development LLC in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Land Development Designer to join the SitePoint team. This in-office/on-site role supports engineering, planning and surveying as NorthPoint builds industrial, data center, multifamily, and retail projects.

You will collaborate with licensed Landscape Architects and other professionals, develop site plans, grading, and landscape design, and prepare documents for permitting and entitlements to guide projects from inception through

• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and surveyors in a fast-paced, stimulating team environment.
• Obtain valuable experience towards future certification by working with licensed Landscape Architects and Professional Planners.
• Conceptualize site plans, master plans, preliminary grading, and detailed landscape design.
• Research and create detailed reports to inform site selection.
• Contribute to 3D visualizations and graphic presentations for a variety of project types.
• Prepare entitlement and permitting submittal documents to communicate designs with municipalities and contractors from inception through construction.
• Be at the center of a team of developers to create desirable spaces and revitalize abandoned properties.

• Be at the center of a team of technically minded developers, reporting your recommendations for how best to create desirable spaces and revitalize abandoned properties to help communities grow and thrive.
