Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Survey Crew Lead to join SitePoint in Kansas City, MO. This outdoor field role supports local-to-KC projects with periodic travel, typically three to five-day trips every other week.

You will perform all field work for topographic surveys and ALTA tasks, operate GPS, UAVs, and LiDAR, and collaborate with internal and external teams. A 2+ year field surveying background and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a field surveyor preferred.
• Capable operator of GPS, total stations, UAVs and LiDAR.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel within the US by air/land.

Responsibilities

• Perform all field work required to complete topographic surveys.
• Operate GPS, UAVs, LiDAR and other survey equipment.
• Conduct ALTA surveys and collaborate with team members.

As a member of SitePoint, the engineering, planning and surveying division of NorthPoint, you will work with other technical professionals to help NorthPoint build projects that benefit communities across the country. This position is an outdoor local-to-KC support role with frequent travel, typically consisting of three to five-day trips, every other week. Who You Are

• 2+ years’ experience working as a field surveyor preferred.
• Capable operator of GPS, total stations, UAVs and Lidar.
• Experienced in working with typical survey processes and procedures related to site development.
• Must have a valid driver's license and are able to travel within the US by air and land.
