Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Survey Intern for Summer 2027 to support our Surveying team on water and wastewater projects within the Indiana regional offices, offering potential for hybrid schedules. You will assist with evaluations, data analysis, and preparing technical reports while collaborating with engineers and survey professionals across offices.

Student must be enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program and have experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or

• Currently enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
• Ability to learn basic design concepts and technical calculations.
• GPS knowledge is a plus.

Survey Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Regional Indiana offices

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

Working with our Surveying team, you will assist with evaluations and design of Water/Wastewater projects.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in engineering evaluations and design of water and wastewater systems.
• Analyze data and help prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and survey professionals across multiple offices.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings to observe project conditions firsthand.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Micro Station experience, preferably in the land development industry.
• Ability to learn basic design concepts and technical calculations.
• GPS knowledge is a plus.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Available for occasional travel, long hours, and occasional weekends.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow direction, and work independently.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
