Gonzalez Strength and Associates is seeking an Instrument Person to support surveying projects on site. You will transport and set up instruments, prepare job sites, and assist with stake layout and elevation measurements.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or GED required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey.
• Clear brush or trees away from survey line.
• Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements.
• Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points.
• Measures how far different points are from each other horizontally.
• Helps with various pieces of survey equipment.
