CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to join our Survey Geospatial Team.

Work will involve traveling to project sites to support field data collection, using GPS receivers, total stations, and data collectors, and gaining hands-on experience in transportation and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, no prior experience required (internships welcomed), and a willingness to learn surveying methods.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites to support field data collection and learn survey methods.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain field equipment such as GPS receivers and total stations.
• Assist Crew Chief with field calculations, data preparation, and plan content.
• Aid in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys as part of a team.
