Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey and Geomatics Delivery Leader for the Mountain West Region.

The role focuses on operational leadership, staffing, and project delivery across the Mountain West (Colorado, Utah) and Inland Northwest markets, coordinating with project managers to align resources and schedules. You will balance regional leadership with hands-on project management, staff development, client engagement, and business development to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a consulting organization with progressively responsible Surveying and Geomatics experience.
• Experience managing and developing professional and technical staff; ability to lead teams and make staffing decisions.
• Project management experience including staffing, schedules, budgets, forecasting, quality, deliverables and client outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, partnering, and strategic thinking skills with ability to gain stakeholder support.
• Ability to evaluate risk, reward, and cost while promoting consistency and standardization across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across Mountain West and Inland Northwest, coordinating staffing, workload forecasting, utilization, and workshare.
• Serve as a project manager, monitoring schedules, budgets, forecasts, deliverables, quality, and overall performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff and Group Leaders, supporting recruiting, engagement, retention, and growth.
• Promote consistent project delivery practices, technical standards, and use of Surveying and Geomatics technologies.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal partners to support client satisfaction, business development, and strategic decisions.
