BGE, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Data Technician for our Houston team to support the Survey group, manage field data, and prepare deliverables for mapping and design. The role connects field crews with project outputs, emphasizing accuracy and organized data workflows.

The ideal candidate will handle topographic data, QA/QC reviews, and data processing, while coordinating with project managers and field staff to ensure complete, clear records and timely client delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of land surveying practices and workflows.
• Experience processing survey data and supporting drafting or deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize multiple projects and data submissions.
• Good written and verbal communication; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and archive daily field logs and project records.
• Download, process, and organize daily topographic survey files.
• Review notes for completeness and consistency with data.
• Prepare field packets and assist with staking calculations.
• Clean up survey data for mapping and final deliverables.
• Create surface models and verify features for QA/QC.
