The Geomatics Division of Phasor Engineering offers spatial services essential for building, maintaining, mapping, and monitoring electrical infrastructure. We utilize the latest geomatics technology, including GPS systems, terrestrial scanners, drones, high-precision optical and infrared sensors, and helicopter-based LiDAR.

Phasor's Geomatics division is seeking a Survey Crew Chief for long-term opportunities in Canada and the United States, working on large-scale construction projects.

Key Details

• Truck and equipment will be supplied
• Travel and accommodations will be paid by Phasor
• 20 days on, 10 days off rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field survey activities, including obtaining survey measurements and staking for infrastructure construction
• Communicate effectively and regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives
• Interpret design drawings, field data, sketches, and base maps
• Coordinate daily activities of the field crew and supervise, mentor, and train survey assistants
• Travel based on project location
• Operate and maintain survey equipment such as ATVs/UTVs/Argos, tools, and materials
• Promote Phasor's Health, Safety, and Environmental Program

Education and Experience

• Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering preferred
