The Geomatics Division offers spatial services essential for building, maintaining, mapping, and monitoring electrical infrastructure. We utilize advanced geomatics technology, including GPS, terrestrial scanners, drones, high-precision optical and infrared sensors, and helicopter-based LiDAR.

Our expertise in power infrastructure projects involves large transmission lines, renewable energy projects, remote inspections, and pipelines. Our team comprises qualified engineers and technicians dedicated to innovation and efficiency.

We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief for long-term projects across Canada and the United States.

Key Details

• Truck and equipment provided
• Travel and accommodations paid by Phasor
• 20 days on, 10 days off rotation

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field survey activities, including measurements and staking for infrastructure construction
• Communicate effectively with Field Leads, Project Managers, Land Surveyors, and Clients
• Interpret design drawings, field data, sketches, and maps
• Coordinate and supervise survey crew, mentor assistants
• Travel as required based on project locations
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and tools
• Promote health, safety, and environmental policies

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering preferred
