Accura Engineering is seeking a Survey CAD Technician in Charlotte, NC with strong land surveying and CAD design experience. The role involves processing field data, creating survey drawings in MicroStation and AutoCAD, and developing 3D terrain models for engineering design.

You will collaborate with a team of designers and project managers to deliver accurate plans, plats, and documentation while adhering to GDOT standards. A 5+ year background in CAD and surveying is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Minimum 1 year field and office surveying with AutoCAD.
• GDOT standards and processes experience.
• Experience with survey software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data to create high-quality drawings in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design.
• Draft and design for various land surveying projects meeting CAD standards.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Ensure field crews collect necessary data through strong communication.
• Prepare plats, plans, and final documentation.
