Accura Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Survey CAD Technician with extensive CAD and land surveying experience to join our team in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on processing field data with MicroStation and AutoCAD, creating high-quality survey drawings, and developing 3D terrain models for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads or similar software.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Minimum of 1 year field and office surveying with AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.
• Experience with survey software and equipment is essential.
• At least 1 year of MicroStation experience preferred.
• Technical drafting knowledge; Associate Degree preferred.
• Ability to work with Survey Team and cross-functional groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Process field survey data using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for design using InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Draft and design for land surveying projects while following CAD standards and GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Ensure field crews collect necessary data through strong communication.
• Prepare information for plans, as-builts, and final plats.
• Revise drawings based on supervisor feedback and redlines.
• Assist in preparing layouts, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct basic field surveys and align with professional certification goals.
• Occasionally verify drawings in the field and maintain accuracy.
