Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey CAD Technician with a strong background in land surveying and CAD design. The ideal candidate will proficiently use MicroStation and AutoCAD to convert field data into detailed survey drawings and 3D terrain models.

You will collaborate with designers and project managers, ensuring CAD standards are met and GDOT requirements are followed, while supporting field crews with data collection and validation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years CAD and survey software experience.
• Minimum 5+ years land surveying experience.
• 1+ year field and office surveying experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards.
• Associates degree in Technical Drafting preferred.
• Ability to work with the Survey Team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data to create survey drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D terrain models from field data using InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Draft designs for land surveying projects meeting CAD standards.
• Coordinate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Prepare plats, as-builts, and plan details.
• Assist field crews by ensuring data quality and timing.
• Verify drawings against field conditions and feedback.
