Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey CAD Technician with strong land surveying and CAD design skills.

The role focuses on transforming field data into precise survey drawings and 3D terrain models using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and InRoads/OpenRoads. The candidate should have 5+ years of CAD and surveying experience, familiarity with GDOT requirements, and the ability to work with a project team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of field and office surveying experience, with hands-on AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.
• Knowledge of survey software and equipment is essential.
• 1 year of MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily field survey data using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create high-quality survey drawings.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads or similar software.
• Draft and design for various land surveying projects while adhering to CAD standards, including GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Coordinate with field crews to ensure necessary data collection.
