Parx Casino is seeking a Surveillance Manager to lead a team, protect casino operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee scheduling, investigations, and daily surveillance activities while coordinating with security to safeguard customers and property.

The role requires 1 year+ in a supervisory surveillance role, strong organization and communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a management/supervisory role in surveillance or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong communication and integrity.
• Ability to handle stressful, volatile situations with poise and confidence.
• Available to work all shifts and weekends/holidays as required.
• Effective English communication in both spoken and written forms.
• Knowledge of state and local laws and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Motivate surveillance agents to stay diligent and proactive.
• Implement strategies to ensure operational integrity and protection of assets.
• Monitor performance of agents against service standards.
• Facilitate daily surveillance department activities and procedures.
• Partner with security to take immediate action to protect customers and assets.
• Prepare work schedules for surveillance staff.
• Collaborate with security to conduct investigations and prepare reports.
• Prepare purchasing requests to maintain inventory for surveillance.
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling of agents; document feedback.
• Detect presence of anyone excluded or ejected from the casino as required.
• Regularly review departmental job descriptions for relevance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Motivates Surveillance agents to remain diligent and proactivein fulfilling the responsibility to protect the integrity ofCasino operations, while maintaining a strong focus on providingexcellent internal customer service. Ensures compliance with allCasino service and operating standards, and all federal, state andlocal regulations. Assists the Surveillance Manager in alltechnical areas on the Surveillance system.
• Implements surveillance strategies that ensure the operationalintegrity and overall protection of customers, employees andCompany assets.
• Monitors the capability and individual performance ofsurveillance agents relative to Company service and operating standards.
• Facilitates daily activities of the surveillance department toensure that all procedures and practices are followed correctlyand consistently.
• Remains proactive and partners with the security department totake immediate action to protect customers, employees and theassets of the property from fire, theft, burglary, assault andother security issues.
• Prepares work schedules for surveillance agents.
• Partners with the security department to conductinvestigations and prepares necessary reports.
• Prepares purchasing requests to ensure that the surveillancedepartment has the necessary inventory of supplies to operateeffectively at all times.
• Assists with hiring, training and scheduling of surveillanceagents. Evaluates performance of surveillance agents andconsistently documents both positive and constructive feedbackrelative to Casino Service and operating standards.
• The detection of the presence of any person who may or isrequired to be excluded or ejected from the Casino under 4 Pa.C.S. §§ 1514 or 1515 of the Gaming Act and Chapters 511 and 513 ofthe Board’s regulations, or is self-excluded from the gaming floorand gaming activities at all licensed facilities under 4 Pa. C.S.§ 1516 of the Gaming Act and Chapter 503 of the Board’s regulations.
• Regularly analyze departmental Job Descriptions for relevanceand effectiveness.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management/supervisory rolein surveillance or a related field preferred.
• Must have excellent organizational and planning skills, strongcommunication skills and integrity.
• Must have ability to handle stressful, volatile situationswith poise and confidence.
• Must be able to work all shifts and weekends/holidays asrequired.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, bothverbally and through written communications.
